Total Roofline Protection & Drainage
Your roofline is the front line of defense against roof-edge water damage. Rotted timber fascias and sagging gutters do more than look unsightly—they allow rainwater to run down behind the brickwork, causing damp, rotting your rafter feet, and washing away soil from your home’s foundations.
At Oakdene Roofing, we carry out full roofline replacements using heavy-duty 18mm uPVC fascia boards that do not require backing timbers. We remove the old rotted timber completely, rather than covering it over (a shortcut known as capping, which locks damp in and speeds up rot).
Maintenance Free
High-grade uPVC that never needs painting, sanding, or chemical treating.
Soffit Ventilation
Continuous airflow vents built-in to prevent attic mold accumulation.
Components of a Premium Roofline System
Fascia Boards
The primary boards carrying your gutters. We install solid 18mm thick uPVC boards directly onto the rafter ends, utilizing marine-grade stainless steel polytop nails that will never rust or leave stains.
Soffit Boards & Ventilation
The underside of the roof overhang. We fit matching uPVC soffits equipped with continuous discrete ventilation slots. This allows fresh air to circulate inside your roof void, eliminating condensation damp.
Modern Guttering & Downpipes
Available in round, square, deep-flow, and ogee profiles to handle high water volumes. For modern builds, we also install premium powder-coated seamless aluminium gutters with exceptional lifespan.
Proper Fall Alignment
Guttering should never be installed completely flat. We calculate the correct fall (slope) of 1mm for every 350mm of gutter run to ensure water drains rapidly toward downpipes. This prevents standing water, which accumulates silt and leaves, causing gutters to sag under excess weight.
