Victorian Property Slate Re-Roof
THE CHALLENGE
A grade-II listed period property with deteriorating hand-split slates, rotted batten structures, and water damage in the attic rafters.
OUR SOLUTION
Stripped old roof tiles carefully. Replaced rotted joist sections. Applied high-tensile breathable felt and counter-battens. Fitted premium Spanish natural slates matching the conservation guidelines, complete with hand-welded lead valleys.

Modern Extension EPDM Flat Roof
THE CHALLENGE
An old, leaking three-layer mineral felt roof on a kitchen extension, causing thermal loss and ceiling moisture stains.
OUR SOLUTION
Stripped the old felt deck. Installed a warm-roof deck configuration with 120mm rigid PIR insulation boards. Bonded a single-sheet EPDM rubber membrane with zero seams, finished with custom anthracite perimeter edge trims.

Chimney Restoration & Lead Flashing
THE CHALLENGE
Water leaking around the chimney breast during heavy rain due to cracked mortar flaunching and deteriorated mortar pointing at the step flashing.
OUR SOLUTION
Raked out mortar joints to a depth of 25mm. Repointed the stack in weather-struck joints. Re-cast the concrete top cap (flaunching). Installed fresh Code 4 lead step flashings and lead soakers, treated with patination oil.

New Build Concrete Tiled Roof
THE CHALLENGE
Completing a new detached double-fronted garage and residential roof structure on a modern development.
OUR SOLUTION
Layed high-performance breathable felt, gauge battens, and tiled using interlocking grey concrete tiles. Finished with a modern dry-verge and dry-ridge mechanical system to bypass wet mortar that cracks over time.
